R.I.P. Rocky Wood

The news came via the HWA Facebook page, our own president Mr. Rocky Wood has passed on. It was well known that Rocky suffered from ALS, and in the end it was complications from this crippling disease that cut his life short.

Rocky touched many people while president of the HWA. I was always impressed by the fact that any time I had an issue or question about the association and its goings on, he was quick to respond and always helpful. Although that may not see like much, these days it refreshing to see the president of any organization personally involved in helping members, especially newer and clueless members, such as myself.

Although I never had the chance to meet Rocky in person I know that he touched many people during his life, and during his tenure as president of the HWA. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones. Rocky was a great man and will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Rocky Wood.
